In 2024, MnGCA brought back the iconic Minnesota tradition of Birthday Tuesdays. On the first Tuesday of every month, you can find Geocachers gathering at Yarusso's in Saint Paul to celebrate anyone who has an upcoming birthday. This tradition was started by King Boreas who hosted over 100 of these events, and this is why we keep the same event description he used, to honor this Minnesota tradition. 

Another tradition recently revived, Breakfast Buddies is a great opportunity to meet other Geocachers, grab a meal, and chat about all things Geocaching. This first-ever Breakfast Buddies was held in January 2004 and has since been historically held on the last Saturday of every month. There have been over 150 of these events so far.
